  • Aerospace Power Journal - Professional journal of the US Air Force, published quarterly.  Articles on all aspects of air and space power employment, management, procurement, etc.  Published by Air University, many articles are academic-freedom "think pieces" that do not necessarily adhere to official USAF policies and positions.
  • Army Aviation Magazine - Bi-monthly publication of the Army Aviation Association of America, which is not directly and formally linked to the Army, but strongly advocates official Army positions. Site has index for current issue, but just one article available on line.
  • Aviation Week - The pre-eminent periodical in aerospace.  Extensive coverage of military aircraft, air weapons programs, and technologies.  Selected articles and help wanted ads from the current weekly edition are available to all, but you must subscribe for a fee to see everything.
  • Flight-On-Line - Articles, pictures, and links.  Heavy emphasis on current and historical military aviation. Articles stress first-person, humorous perspectives.
  • Naval Aviation News - Published bi-monthly by US Navy's Naval Historical Center. Site has editions on line from 96 through 99, plus information or links on current naval aircraft types, individual naval aviation squadrons, and aircraft carriers.
